Jerry and his wife Carolyn Hoodenpyle have two children, now married adults with children of their own. Jerry has been a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, since 1967. He is past Chairman of the Board of Deacons (1972-73) and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees (1968-Present).
